以下是朋友T與小路 11月9日在Skype上的對話，有一些小路個人對google 購併與擴張邏輯的臆測，文中除了一些公司、網路服務與人名以xxx與ooo代替外，其餘盡量保持原貌不動。

以下是朋友L與小路在Skype上討論Origami的對話。Origami就是Microsoft號稱『Go Everywhere. Do Everything』的Ultra-Mobile PC之開發專案代號。除了修正一些明顯的拼字錯誤，拿掉對話時間以及更改雙方的暱稱外，其餘保持原貌不動。

小路 說 : it will be defeated by some simple, easy-to-use, and much cheaper mobile hardwares , which skype and google is going to provide

L 說 : just study these and write on your thesis

小路 說 : by focusing on high-end customers' need, but ignoring the low-end market

小路 說 : innovation often happens from the low end market , which has low margin

L 說 : oh

小路 說 : innovation dilemma

小路 說 : if microsoft provides a messenger-based simple hardware cooperating  with its partners, skype will face much greater competition

小路 說 : microsoft's umpc is  featuring full Microsoft Windows XP functionality

L 說 : i think thats good way because the pioneer user should like all-function-in-1

小路 說 : u can get this "impressive" message via the webpage just forwarded to u

小路 說 : nope.

小路 說 : that kind of pioneer users is not good to chase the gap to reach the mass market

L 說 : sure

L 說 : but they can provide big feedback

L 說 : to advise how to add/ reduce the function

L 說 : so i think the big device is for pilot period

小路 說 : to improve the functions and to add feature for higher end customers

小路 說 : then getting far far far away from the mainstream...
