Apparently June 6 is some kind of important day in Sweden 'cause there were all kinds of celebration everywhere from live outdoor jazz to police band to medieval market/fair. & it seemed like everyone was carrying a Swedish flag. Very festive!

Took a short trip to Stockholm. Seems kinda out of the blue but it's not really like that. Was staring at the map of Europe that I have on one of my walls a few months ago and decided that I should make that stretch even though I knew my schedule will be very tight close to the end here. But I guess it's good that I coudn't spend much time there 'cause the cost of living in Scandinavian countries is just crazy. Sometimes it's even more expensive than UK! Yup. That's not the place to linger around for too long.
The harbor where my hostel (the red boat) was. Yup. I stayed 2 nights in a cabin of the boat floating in the harbor. There were plenty of other ones but I just thought this one looked kinda cute... And...
