I'm still a little concerned about that.  We are far behind our basic goals: we have less than 61% of our AC goal, and 50% of our CC goal.  It 's like a warning  alarm we have.  Considering our history, this period now is the most risky we are facing. Without meeting the requirement needed for ACs and CCs, no matter how high our scores are from Marketing, we would be disqualified from competition.   

目前有關教育總體目標 - 高級演講員及中級演講員的達成率，本人在此還是格外擔心;  事實上我們仍距最低目標門檻尚有一段距離，對於世界總會高級演講員數要求之目標,我們尚有六成一的未達成率，而中級演講員目標數,則亦有五成的未達成率; 這是個警訊，就以往的經驗而言，我們已明顯落後目標甚多,而此時刻正是個危險關鍵期，倘若未能達成這些最底限教育目標，不論我們在會務會員上的推廣多麼的成功, 將功虧一簣!

A mark in the life/ 生命中的印記

New Century Bilingual Toastmasters Club, Area B3

After being a mother-in-law for four years, I became a grandma. That really touches me – who still thinks myself is young – and gives me a lot of thoughts about my life. 

當了「婆婆」以及四年後當了「奶奶」，的確讓「自認為還很年輕」的個人對自己這一生的看法有了極大的感觸與感動，在這樣的心情下，乃決定將每一個感動寫成一篇演講作為生命中的印記。

I also learned that a good speech doesn't have to be "big" stories, like advising people how to live their lives or how to overcome difficulties. Small, personal stories about love, family or friendship can be just as good and inspirational. It's just the way how you try to impress the audience.

同時也收到許多資深會員對我的演講给予寳貴的建議，並與他們互動。這個過程大開了我的眼界。我同時也學習到，一個精彩的演講，其實不必講很「深」的故事，像是勸勉人如何生活，或如何克服困難。其實一些有關於愛、家庭與友情的個人故事同樣的精彩與發人深省！簡單的說，就是如何讓觀眾感動！

Many people have talent and they have the vision but seldom do people have this courage to continue and stick to their goal.  I would love to wrap up my sharing by offering a quote, Jerry Chen, a distinguished Toastmaster in Taichung once said, "Being a champion would only last a year or so, but remaining a champion will carry you a life time.” And that's truly admirable!

很多人有潛力，也有目標，但是很少人有勇氣堅持到最後。我將以一句話總結我的經驗，這句話是台中分會DTM Jerry Chen所說：一個年度冠軍的頭銜，你只能擁有一年，但是你要花一輩子的時間，不辱冠軍的頭銜。這才是值得我們敬佩的精神!
