When I sat in the chair listening to Dr. Bennie Bough’s speech, watching the old photos when he was 50 years younger, I heard they had only three people for their demo meeting and yet the Taipei Toastmasters Club has survived for 50 years. I was suddenly enlightened by the positive thinking that we had nine people and we can survive proportionally for 150 years. We should not give up! 

當我坐在椅子上聆聽Dr. Bennie Bough的演講，看者他五十年前年經時候的照片，想到當時他們只有三個會員，但是台北分會卻已經走過五十載, 我突然被激發，我們有九位會員，這樣算來我們起碼可以存活一百五十年。我們不可以放棄！

The biggest challenge for me to coach Frankie is that he has fluent English, so I need remind him to slow down his speaking path again and again. In doing so, the audience might understand his key messages he would like to convey.

The best coach is NOT telling what a contestant should do but INSPIRE him/her to develop his/her incredible potential. 
 

最好的教練不應該是告訴參賽者該做什麼，而是激勵參賽者發揮他最大的潛力。畢竟，參賽者應該做自己，教練演講的影子應該要留在教練的身上。

When I first started coaching, I had no idea how much I had to learn. Good coaching starts with learning—the coach’s learning. If you feel you are ready to coach, then I say go for it!
