菲律濱基督教靈惠學院華語文化研究中心

靈惠中學成立於1950年7月，學校成立之目的乃是依據聖經的原則來培育學生在德、智、體、群、美等五育之全人教育，學校學生約有四千人，分幼稚園、小學及中學。自去年6月起，開始招收大學部新生並改制為靈惠學院。

隨著海外掀起華文熱潮，一直在菲律濱致力於推動華文教育的靈惠學院，在陳校長及林主任的帶領下，於2008年三月正式籌備華語文化研究中心。今年6月更被台灣亞太經合數位化契機中心(ADOC)的華語文遠距視訊學習計劃選為合作夥伴，以台灣作為華語學習的大本營，透過電腦視訊的方式，輔以MP3、課本及其他輔助電子儀器，讓海外學習華文人士能更有效地學習華文。在緊鑼密鼓的籌畫與推動下，於今年7月開始招生，採用高規格小班制的精緻教學，更可以拉近師生距離，增加課堂互動。

華語文化研究中心除了協助提升靈惠學院幼稚園至大學的華文教育外，更自我期許為菲律濱華文教育的大本營。本中心目前招收六歲以上各年齡層的學生，推廣中文與中華文化之美，拓展學生的視野、更有效地學習華文，並增加他們對中華文化的認識。未來，相信靈惠學院能成為菲律濱中文人才的最大培育搖籃。

Grace Christian High School was founded in July, 1950, the founding principles being rooted in the Bible. The objective is to develop the totality of the students in team of character, intellect, sport, social graces, and the arts. The school has a population of approximately 4000 students ranging from the kindergarten, elementary to the high school. The school began to promote the awareness of the College department in June of 2007. Grace Christian High School was these renamed Grace Christian College.

Under the leadership of the president of Dr. James L. Tan and the directress of Student Affairs Mrs. Judith Tan, Grace Christian High School has always promoted the importance of Chinese education. The Chinese Language and Culture Research Center was launched last March of 2008. It has been chosen as partner of Digital e-Learning Center by APEC Digital Opportunity Center (ADOC) in June, 2008. By using the web-cam assisted by MP3, textbook, and other electronic devices, people who live overseas can learn Chinese effectively. It started to recruit students in July, 2008. The school provides high quality professional teaching. The Small class size enables the teacher and students to have increased interaction. Due to the small student-teacher ratio, teachers are able to affectively monitor the progress of each student.

The Chinese Language and Culture Research Center does not only help to improve the Mandarin Chinese education from kindergarten to College, it is also in the forefront of Chinese education in the Philippines. It targets students who are six years old and above. It promotes the beauty of Chinese language and culture. It develops in the students awareness of Chinese culture. In the future, we foresee Grace Christian College to be the cradle of the highest quality of Chinese human resource in the Philippines.
