三日下午看到聖嚴師父因器官衰竭病逝的新聞,雖然早知他的身體不佳,但年前還看到他在電視上出現開示,原以為他的身體狀況尚可,所以看到師父圓寂的消息有點震驚,現在才知道原來那段新春開示是預錄的。

Ingmar Bergman紐約時報報導,有「電影詩人」美譽的英格瑪柏格曼被視為電影史上最偉大的導演之一,與費里尼和黑澤明並列為主宰廿世紀下半葉嚴肅電影的三大導演。

法國導演塔維涅曾說:「柏格曼是第一個把形而上學,像是宗教、死亡和存在主義帶到電影中的人。但柏格曼的拿手絕活是他處理女人和男女關係的手法,他就像礦工一般挖掘純真。」

【大紀元5月17日訊】(大紀元綜合報導)昨日下午,有網友爆料稱,「林妹妹」陳曉旭因乳腺癌已經過世。這一消息立刻激起千層浪,因為陳家人刻意保密,關於陳曉旭去世的消息直到晚上11點多才得到證實。陳曉旭這位小姨透露:陳曉旭因乳腺癌於5月13日晚在深圳去世,遺體於16日晚送往深圳殯儀館,將於17 日火化。(詳全文

Rostropovich俄羅斯傳奇大提琴家羅斯托波維奇的女發言人告訴法新社,這位反俄羅斯體制的象徵人物今天去世,享年八十歲。

她說:「他今天在醫院逝世。」

羅斯托波維奇生病已經有一段時間,一直在莫斯科的癌症診所接受治療。

一個多月前,台灣著名資深樂評家曹永坤因肝癌併發心臟衰竭去世,享年 79 歲,除了感嘆樂評界失去一位重量級人物,也想起了一段往事。

三年多前,因緣際會認識了台灣樂評前輩曹永坤,當時他的堂弟曹永洋,也就是志文出版社總編輯,說服他出一本回憶錄,由於曹永坤當時眼睛已動過白內障手術,視力退化,無法親自執筆,於是透過人輾轉找到了我,希望能由他口述,而我記錄整理下來出書。

Carlo Maria Giulini, the esteemed Italian conductor, an idealistic maestro acclaimed for his refined and insightful accounts of the standard orchestral repertory and for several now classic recordings of operas by Mozart and Verdi, died on Tuesday in Brescia in northern Italy. He was 91 and lived in Bolzano, Italy.
