早已闖蕩江湖20餘年的老字號才氣女歌手Lucinda Williams，卻在她求精不求量的要求下，僅推出過七張專輯，可真是讓樂迷朋友們每一次的等待都是如此的望眼欲穿，她對音樂的完美執著主義，寧願與唱片公司解除合約，製作人與客席樂手不斷撤換，轉入其他願意賞識她的公司繼續推出專輯，也不願硬擠出為了發片而發片，製造出不屬於自己感受的作品。受到文學詩人的父親影響，Lucinda不僅在詞彙創造上多了份文藝質感，更沉浸在其父收藏的鄉村、民謠等音樂世界中，並開啟她對於樂器演奏之天賦。12歲年紀就已著手創作，加入藍調氣息的曲調融合，Lucinda開始游走各地展開演唱生涯。



1979年首張專輯『Rambling』問世，雖然沒有帶出極為亮眼的銷售佳績，卻也讓Lucinda開始獲得各界矚目。80年代中仍屬少量曝光級的歌手專輯1980年『Happy Woman Blues』和1988年『Lucinda Williams』，每一回都讓人快要忘了她的存在之時，總是防不慎防的推出令人滿意的佳作；進入90年代的Lucinda，可稱之為開花結果的燦爛時期，獲獎無數、讚譽推崇、集光聚焦….沉穩纖細的音樂觸感，如說書人般的幕幕呈現晶瑩透徹的動人畫面！
