如果說 Zack Greinke 拿下 AL CYA 有讓我感到一絲絲小意外的話，那 Timmy 拿 NL CYA 就是個大驚喜了。還能說什麼？他不但是怪物，而且是個強運附體的怪物 XD
"I really didn't know (how the vote was going to go)," he said. "Both the guys I was going up against in Wainwright and Carpenter had tremendous seasons. Given that, especially (with the surgery) Carpenter came off of and what Wainwright did as a workhorse, I didn't know how the cards were going to fall. It was a lucky one for me. I'll take them as they come, I guess."
今年的 NL CYA 無論在個人喜好或從數據上來看，Timmy 絕對是我心目中的票選第一名，但他也絕對不是我猜會拿獎的人…我不認為 BBWAA 開始覺得勝投不重要了，只不過 Timmy 在 BBWAA 的 ERA & IP 這第二與第三的投票考量上也顯現出足夠的優勢，這從第一名的得票數上也可以知曉。
NL CYA 在競爭太激烈的情況下 Cards 的兩位王牌把票給分散掉了，所得出的結果就是原本得獎呼聲最高的 Wainwright 與 Carpenter 變成與看好度第三的 Timmy 成了票數（分數）上的拉鋸。
Wainwright 與 Carpenter 都有絕對的資格來拿獎，但流俗一點地來說：「這或許是個美麗的錯誤，但其結果是讓我滿意的。」

各位技安隊球迷悶了好幾個月，球隊未能打進季後賽、看著傻賓與 ED 被無腦續約、爛咖 Freddy 用兩年 1200 萬再簽下，以及到現在 Timmy 的合約仍無聲無息……久沒對技安文章有所更新，因為我也不知道該寫些什麼，希望這個消息能讓你們能稍吐怨氣，至少我是如此。
