許多美國的福音歌手都會在自己的音樂中加上比較通俗的流行色彩，用非常生活化的技巧，歌頌生命中的許多感動，讓聽眾從字裡行間去體會隱藏在其中的神恩，這類歌曲一般通稱為「Contemporary Christian Music」(當代基督教音樂)，用比較通俗一點的說法，就是所謂的「流行福音音樂」，簡稱為「CCM」。(上週我們所介紹的「無人能像你」的作者Lenny LeBlanc即是CCM的老將之一。)
