Graffiti! Art? or Scrawl?

Czech is really a beautiful country. Especially their aesthetic and classical architecture; however, I am surprised that I could see a lot of “graffiti” in everywhere when I traveled around Czech, no matter where is a big city or a small town.

Culture of Smoking

I found something very interesting, which is about smoking. As everyone knows that there is a very strict law to regulate those people who smoke in Taiwan. But it is totally different in Czech and Austria.

Journey in Czech, Day 1

The first day is not as smooth as I expected. Basically, I spent all the time on transport. I did expect that I would spend a lot of time on transport, but I didn’t expect that I couldn’t catch my transfer flight and there would be a strike by metro workers. It’s an awful day!

Christmas Gifts (Dec. 17, 2010)

Today is the date of our last presentation class. My most favorite teacher, Nancy, arranged a special activity. Today everyone has to prepare a gift and then exchange to each other. We have a lucky draw, so we couldn’t know who would be the one to exchange the gift in advance.

Christmas Tree at Sharry’s House (Dec. 16, 2010)

Sharry is one of our English teachers who came from the U.S. She has taught English in Taiwan more than 20 years. She is very tough and I give her a ranking as a killer. She is good at writing course, and any student who has been taught (or tortured) in her writing class will agree with my ranking.

Super nice teacher-Elsa (Dec. 15, 2010)

Elsa is one of our English teachers. She is from South Africa. Even though she is middle-aged, she always looks stylish. The most important is she always has a lot of patience to her students. She is nice and easygoing.

Gathering-Group 8, Term 2 (Nov. 29, 2010)

At ITI, we have to reshuffle every term (3 months for each term). This term I was assigned to Group8 and today is our first time, also the last time, we have a gathering.
