變化是生活的調味品

這句話很簡單明瞭，意思就是trying different things keeps life interesting（嘗試不同的東西會讓生活保持趣味），常用來鼓勵人在生活中多加一些變化，不要一成不變，老是吃一樣的東西、做一樣的事、搭一樣的 公車、混一樣的酒吧，連度假的地點都年年選一樣的。多點變化，人生才有樂趣；就像這次的端午節(Dragon Boat Festival)長假，或許大家可以想出不同於以往的度假方式，給家人朋友一個難忘的驚喜！

實用對話Conversation

 

A: Let's have my favorite-braised pork on rice and meatball soup-for dinner tonight, shall we?

B: Come on. We've been having the same thing for lunch all week.

A: Then, why don't we have your favorites for a change?

Shrimp dumplings and hot and sour soup?

B: Ugh. We've been having the same thing for dinner all week. Aren't you tired of them?

A: What do you want to have then? Name it.

B: Variety is the spice of life. Let's eat at a five-star hotel buffet instead.
