yeah, still feeling damn happy today. 洪俊揚's 《沙沙的誰》got number 1 today!! he is the first ever project superstar contestant to get number one on 933's 龍虎榜! it made kelly's on my way stay at number 2 for the second consecutive time. and 《難道》is slowly making its way up, it's at #18 currently.. :)

well, from the title, i can expand on something. CO and SO will always be number one! these wonderful words are from shoukee, when we were chatting. we shall never fall!《赞乐歌》is the title given by sk. overall = ingenity = 9/10 [there's always room for improvement for everything], evil-ity = 10/10. [total evil man, read on.]

may wp drown and get eaten by goldfish

yeah, we had our open house today. i tell you, it should be one of my perfect days this year. we all HAD FUN. especially String Orchestra and us [Chinese Orchestra]!!

well, the musical EP3s are supposed to perform to the p6's and their parents in front of the Kah Kee Hall. SO and us are located directly in front of the KKH, side by side. while the band is a little further, near the fountain area. we are supposed to take turns to perform. we have 3 to 4 20-minute slots from 9am to 1pm. so band starts first, after 20 minutes it is our turn, then string orch, then the process repeats itself...

at 1+pm, we do not really go by that order anymore. you can play whenever you want, but when others are laying, you are not allowed to play at the same time... that's common sense and basic manners. seems that band doesn't know that. when string orchestra were playing their wonderful piece halfway, band cuts in and sort of covered string orch's melody. of course, the string orch people were damn 不爽. how can band do that? so, they thought of a plan. well, revenge is always sweet, but their instruments are not loud enough for them to get back at band. so, string orch approached us! since we have our 打击乐器 and 嗩呐 which were very loud, we should be able to cover the band's music. so, i think a few of the string orch commitee members and shou kee came to 黃老師 [wongsm]. they discussed a plan. we will first ask one of our suona players, song sim, to send out a 'warning signal' to them by blowing a loud note. then, we, the chinese orch people will all cut into band's music by playing 金蛇狂舞. this song is normally played by us during chinese new year, so you can imagine how loud it will be. amazingly, wongsm agreed to this idea. of course, we are very excited.

so it began. song sim blew a high note to warn the band. then, as the band were halfway into their pieces, whivch i recognize to be the tune of [不怕不怕], we 'interrupted'. the first note was loud and loud and loud..... taking a peak at the band people, obviously they were stunned. so we continued till the end... and when we ended, they string orch people cheered damn loudly. or should i say they were screaming... so ear-piercing lah. of course, band 不认输. almost immediately after we finished our piece, they hit back with another song. at that time, some of our commitee members didnt want us to continue with this 'plan' anymore, but i guess they were just 口是心非. so after the band ended, we hit back with aother song, 天龙八部. this time the music is also as loud as the previous one. at the last few notes, we are supposed to play them increasingly louder. so our conductor purposely made us drag that loud note for quite long. as usual, after our piece, the string orch people screamed. this time, my god, shou kee, screamed so loudly, i think it attracted attention from elsewhere. wongsm was like 吓到 lah... again, the band played.

now this was the climax of the day. there are a few highlights here. firstly, we wanted our suona and the whole orchestra to sound louder. so, the fun string orch people lended us their microphones. to increase the effects, we got our suona to go in front, facing the mike some more. well, you can imagine. suona itself is loud enough, now you add microphones to it. only those who went there know the effects. well, and we were performing another super loud song, so... that's the first highlight.

the second highlight, we know that“团结就是力量”. so, we 'combined forces'. even nancy tay and wongsm were thrilled by this idea, especially wongsm, laughing so loud and then covering her mouth [her usual reaction to funny stuff] when she knew about it. we got the cello and bass from string orchestra to help us. i really must say, even though this might be their first time looking at our scores, they can side-read well! the music is perfect. well, by that time, many people must be curious about out 'music competition'; the parents and even the teachers gatheed around our 'combined forces' to see... with 2 orchestras and the help of microphones, we sort of turned the whole place upside-down? the first note went into my ears and hit my eardrum so hard, i was like "what the hell, i am going deaf" when i was playing. but slowly i got used to it, and i think we all gave our best [and our loudest] we could. when it all ended, it was applause time!!! from everywhere! well, at the same time we got to know that the band has gone away. this means, string orch and chn orch have the last laugh!!! yeah. this is what band gets after interrupting string orch? string orch are a bunch of interesting and fun people!!! i hope we can have more chances to co-operate in music in future, just like how we got rid of band today. haha! i tell you, it was really damn 過癮！

well, after that, the string orchestra went back slowly, but we are still very high. so to top it al off, wongsm said, “为了给今天一个完美的结局，我们在把最好的一面再次呈现给别人吧！” we played 紅旗渠 - 第2樂章. then after that, it all ended.

so, in conclusion, whoever offends us or string orch, when we combine forces, you will know. CO + SO = unbeatable [at least against band.] 3 cheers for us!

can't elva just totally break away from warner? it has already been more than one year since warner first promised the release of elva's newest album. and they keep giving lame excuses! i bet, even after stefanie, tanya, a-mei and sammi leave warner, elva's album will still not be released yet. warner should have realized that they should not do such a thing to elva. they give themselves deadline, and then they extend it to whenever they like. and god, songs from her newest album get thrown out one by one. firstly it was [honey honey honey], next it was [代言人], now it is [我要的世界]. when is all these crap going to stop? yes, we fans can wait. but for how long? our patience is really running out. and btw, this song [我要的世界] is really a nice song. written by elva herself!!! seems to be writing about her own feelings. that's why it's reallli sooo nice, touching. the lyrics are really meaningful.
