America合唱團是七○年代初期最受歡迎的民謠搖滾三重唱.....
由三位美國空軍子弟在倫敦組成。
清新的木吉他伴奏、出色的和聲
加上精心的製作乃是他們的最大本錢；
1972年的一首"A Horse With No Name"
以黑馬的姿態一舉奪得冠軍，
接著的三年之間，
他們又贏得了一首冠軍曲––"Sister Golden Hair"
以及5首Top 10單曲，
專輯更是張張成為金唱片或白金唱片。
1977年團Dan Peek離隊，使他們的演唱事業寫上了休止符；
