科技、現代、人物 國家形象短片正式起跑(來源)
新聞局與國家地理頻道 亞澳歐非130國攜手放送
新思維、新手法，台灣的國家形象更現代、更活潑了。為加強在國際間塑造台灣形象，提昇我國在國際社會的正面形象，行政院新聞局與國家地理頻道合作拍攝三部長度各為30秒的「台灣國家形象短片」，內容焦點在台灣引領全球風騷的三大面向：科技、現代生活及台灣人民對於人道關懷的精神與行動。
這三部透過國家地理頻道國際一流拍攝水準所呈現、並以"Taiwan Inspiring"為主題架構的《科技篇》、《現代篇》及《人物篇》國家形象短片將製成中、英、日、韓四種語版，自8月13日起陸續於台灣、香港、日本、韓國、其他亞洲地區、紐澳、歐洲、非洲共130餘個國家之國家地理頻道播映，台灣的科技成就、獨具特色的現代生活型態，與象徵台灣的人道關懷、奮勇向前之台灣精神的林義傑，將讓全球觀眾感受台灣從科技、從生活、從個人所激發的無限魅力。

nment Information Office and National Geographic Channel are to be shown in 130 countries throughout Asia, Australasia, Europe, and Africa.
In its latest TV promotional campaign, Taiwan employs fresh ideas and novel filming techniques to portray the modern and dynamic side of life in Taiwan. The campaign comprises three 30-second commercials, which have been co-produced by Taiwan's Government Information Office and the National Geographic Channel (NGC) and focus on areas that make Taiwan stand out from the crowd: technology, modern living, and the humanitarian spirit and work of its people.
Under the overall theme of "Taiwan Inspiring, " these high-quality productions each take one of three sub-themes, namely "Inspiring Innovation," "Inspiring Lifestyles," and "Inspiring People." The commercials, which have been produced in four languages (Mandarin, English, Japanese, and Korean), will be aired on NGC from August 13 to audiences in over 130 countries in Asia (including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea), Australasia, Europe, and Africa. By highlighting Taiwan's technological accomplishments, ease of modern living, and the humanitarian spirit and courage of its people (which is personified in Taiwanese ultramarathon runner Kevin Lin, who features in one of the commercials), these short portraits of Taiwan are set to captivate and inspire audiences around the globe.
