it's only two years' business development before ebay bought skype, and fuuny thing about it is that skype is popular in some european countries and some asian countries (especially in Taiwan), in US, it's still small and new. But ebay's huge investment seems like they want to "catch" the future that is still uncertain. The best investment ever for skype funders but risk investment so far for ebay. would you invest skype (of course if you were lucky enough) back when it was looking for money in early 2003? Even before there's no clue about what skype was? Thumb-ups for skype's investors but thumb-downs for ebay!
