sign of the time
we’re moving our fingers faster than we’re moving our mouths
or vice versa, i’m not sure, but the words get longer and the lines get short
we’re staring at artificial illuminations more than we’re staring at the starlights
that’s true, for all i know, we’re all blinded by the light
of intelligences and conveniences cooked up by one or two or all of us
who are called pioneers or cheaters, and that i’m not sure which
we mingle amongst ourselves in crowded boxes, everyone with something to say,
however trivial or grandiose or god all mighty or something shitty
are passed on, passed by and passed off as fake truths
so is there a god or gods no one even cares, and for all i know, the machine is god
when the lights go out in europe, america, asia, middle east or your home,
the apocalypses are nearer than before, which by the way, no one believes anymore
so what should we do with our tick-tick happy fingers or our lagged visions
when i will disappear in those same crowded boxes and the shiny tablets eaten up by
people everywhere like poisoned candies

since when do you know who you’re talking to, or it don’t matter anymore
‘tis the sign of the time that no one and everyone noticed and overturned and flipped back on again, like the old light switches of the flickering fluorescent bulbs you no longer can control but to give up and lit up like the blinking plastic christmas trees on a party
surrounded by strangers and friends once you think are akin
and with the chill outside you keep yourself warm by the dimly lit little heater at your feet, you watch one of many and thousands and millions and billions of people log on and log off, heaving your body up and down, with cursors and precursors mixed up in the ever changing world on your desktop, alone, as tears and juices simultaneously flowing into the wall on which

我想
我想失去形體，茫茫渺渺
被鵝蛋形的繭包覆，全身毛細孔張開
感受微刺的空間
伸手觸碰失去焦聚的遠/近方
憨笑著，像個嬰孩一般，回到赤裸裸的誕生
流放回憶，抵達終點
我想失去時間，時間也失去我
身體卷曲，俯瞰逆流的溪水，閉上雙眼
天地萬物無以遁形
讓渾沌包圍著我，踩著歪斜的腳步
踉蹌著，像個老翁一般，追著無垠的未來
瞬間回憶，折返起點
我想失去現實，現實也失去我
神遊太虛幻境，魄散九霄，分崩離析
猶如深山魍魎
失手便重返人間，苦惱纏身，抱著殘缺的魂魄
啜泣著，像個死靈一般，倒述著乖舛的過去
孤寂回憶，孓然一生

Neil Young – Powderfinger
& The Band -- The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down
搖滾史重量級創作歌手Neil Young(尼爾楊)和他的樂團Crazy Horse(瘋馬)
於1979年發行了Rust Never Sleeps專輯
主要收錄了他於1978年在舊金山Cow Palace(牛宮)舉行的同名演唱會的歌曲
他並以假名Bernard Shakey自己執導了Rust Never Sleeps概念演唱會紀錄片
該片和專輯一樣也於1979年發行
這場演唱會紀錄片和他於1976年也曾參與過的The Band的告別演唱會紀錄片
The Last Waltz
(該片由大導演馬丁史柯西斯執導，而且也是在舊金山舉行)
都被譽為搖滾史上的經典演唱會紀錄片
