面試我的人資垂眼看了一下我的履歷，接著說「你不是新聞系畢業的….Okay，這樣說好了，就像新聞記者為了採訪到某個人，必須運用某些”手法”去接近當事人，只要記住這些手法不是目的，目的是採訪到所需的新聞。」

她彷彿在心中施力點，慧黠地打著比方說。

回來至今也一個月了，第一週在調時差又適逢搬家，所以每日晚晚睡又晚晚起，把爸媽幫 我封箱的家當一一拆封，檢閱後再決定保留或丟棄。第二週則把每個因為搬家需要更改地址的單位一一聯繫。光是整理家當、更改地址與英鎊旅支就搞死我了，一直 到第三週才有時間向外探頭，停止宅男養成的世界紀錄累積。

兩個禮拜前回台，才發現之前一直資助的世界展望會剛果小女孩，早在我去年出國念書起，因為變更為自動扣款的手續似乎沒有辦好，而斷了贊助。現在回來了，雖然心裡覺得很過意不去，總覺得應該馬上補辦手續，繼續之前的贊助，但是由於一回國就處於待業中的狀態，搬了新家也花了不少錢在添補家具，因此就先緩緩吧! 帶我與伯樂接上了線，工作穩定有了收入後，再續前緣。

整理房間時發現了世界展望會寄來的信件與賀卡，上面有我的小女孩Pelagie親筆塗鴉的圖案，才又讓我想起了身為贊助人的溫暖滋味。補上2005年9月17日所寫的文字，再一次回味這段美好的緣分。

How is intercultural communication in interethnic gay male relationships?

Abstract

The aim of this study is to extend the previous researches on interethnic romantic relationships by exploring the communication patterns of interethnic gay male couples. In this research, qualitative semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions were adopted. Participants included in the final analysis were 5 interethnic gay couples: 5 Chinese and 5 British were recruited for interview via snowball sampling technique. The time of all interviews ranged from 1 to 2 hours and the field work took one and half month in July and August 2008. After reviewing the analysis of the gay couples’ accounts, the themes such as language, culture, and expression of love are also found as differently between the British and Chinese gay partners as in straight interethnic couples. However, the public invisibility of intimacy between interethnic gay male partners due to lack of social acceptance is a newly found issue which was not widely discussed in the previous researches of interethnic heterosexual couples in terms of expression of love.
