indeed, fact is the dream is the imaginary illusion. one who struggles with his/her life may find it hard to achieve his/her dream.
a dream is more like a goal and a faith to me. it may be unreal, yet it's the path you choose to go on, and the stories happen within it. i think thats what matters to me the most, though the results may be varied; at least i know i tried, and living without regrets.
but when the dream is all about the past, which the person struggles with the past, he/she would never achieve his/her dream.
