I visited Beijing for 8 days in the beginning of April.


Seven months after Olympics of 2008.


The Capital of a historical and modern society.


I am very impressed by what I have visited and been introduced to in Beijing, including people, places, and social phenomena.


As the dinner of the last night staying in Beijing, I had the chance to dine at the very famous and trendy Peking duck restaurant "Made In China" located in Grand Hyatt, I think this is the perfect closing of my Beijing trip.

This is a bottle of weird malt taste.


To me, it tastes like alcohol blended with perfume.


It doesn't serve the enjoyable function of single malt whisky.

Shanghai is a city full of surprises.











People visit this city for all sorts of reasons: making big and small business deals, finding historical and cultural interests, tasting unique Shanghai cuisine and buying lots of local souvenirs....etc.


People also come to Shanghai with different expectations based upon all kinds of advices: your friend who's been there before would warn you to be prepared for crowded streets, bad traffic and air pollution; people are eager to make deals and money; as an outsider, there is no "free" item, you will be charged for every single item or service; food is good if you don't mind the sanitary standard; a conflictinng view of modern skyscrapes and shadowed shabby old communities; people there are with huge unfriendly attitude; and especially care your blongings from pickpocket.
