瞿友寧，在台灣因執導著名熱門偶像電視劇而聞名的導演。但鮮少人知道，其實瞿導除了執導電視劇，「拍電影」才是他人生裡最重要的目標。為了拍電影，他甚至抵押房子也堅持繼續拍電影。2006年春天，他的第三部電影《英勇戰士俏姑娘》隆重推出。

Chu Yu Ning , the famous director of several popular TV series featuring young idols in Taiwan, is comparatively less well-known for his ambition in Film Making.  In fact, to realize him dream, he even went so far as to mortgage his house in order to have sufficient funds for film-making. His  third movie“Like A Hero", is released  this spring. 

 執導電視劇創下高收視 

他是台灣最受歡迎的偶像劇導演，個人網站的會員高達一萬五千人。2003年執導的電視偶像劇《薔薇之戀》，收視率與副產品銷售量，都是該年度冠軍，更拿下當年台灣電視金鐘獎最受歡迎之戲劇節目。2005年的電視偶像劇《惡作劇之吻》再次刷新自己所保持的紀錄。

Chu has over 15000 fans joined his personal website.  The rating and the potential profit from selling the series related goods of his 2003 TV “The Rose” hit the top that year, and won the most welcomed drama series of the local Golden Bell Award for TV& Radio Programmes. The 2005 youth idol series “It Started With A Kiss” even surpassed all his 2003 records.

電影院的童年 

從小就喜歡電影的瞿友寧，童年可以說得上是在戲院裡度過的。

       小時後，隔壁鄰居常常會送給他家很多電影招待券，六歲的瞿友寧常常一個人從放學後就開始進戲院看電影，有些影片甚至可以重複看上好多次，也不會覺得厭煩。在這些幻想的電影情節影響下，單親家庭長大的瞿友寧，他的心智明顯比其他同年齡的小朋友來得早熟，也較早感受大人世界間深刻的情感，也從此立定志向，要成為一個導演。

Chu was a lot more mature and sensitive than his peers.  He is determined to be a movie director.

連連得獎的優良劇本

電影專業學校畢業，主攻編劇導演，1992年，瞿友寧第一個劇本作品《街頭石子》，就獲新聞局評選為優良電影劇本【當年李安同為十個得獎者之一】；1993年，再次以《游在窗上的一朵海洋》獲新聞局評選為優良電影劇本。1995年，他又以《從七點到七點》（電影改名為《假面超人》）獲得新聞局評選為優良電影劇本。連續獲獎的肯定，讓他決定從編劇的工作轉變當一名導演。

Scripts that won lots and lots of awards

Graduated from movie academy school majoring in scripting and directing, Chu wrote his first script in 1992. “Stones on the Street” was among the ten best  movie scripts selected by GIO (Government Information Office, Ang Lee  was among the ten winners the same year).  Next year, Chu again won the same award for his “An Ocean Swimmed on the Window”(游在窗上的一朵海洋??). In 1995 again the GIO gave the best movie script  award  to his “Falling Up Waking Down” The successive recognitions helped  him to  make up his mind to not only keep writing scripts but also to become a director. 

成為一個導演後，他陸陸續續拍攝了許多短片、單元劇、紀錄片等，在1995年之前，他以拍攝電視題材為主，一直到了1995年，從來沒有忘記要拍電影的瞿友寧，終於推出電影處女作：《假面超人》【一個風格特殊的黑色喜劇，敘述三對情侶彼此不認識，卻在同一個晚上都到了同一座公寓中，捲入了一個謀殺案裡。】

As a  director,

Chu made many short movies, single dramas, and documentaries, all in TV.  In 1995 Chu produced his very first movie “Falling Up Waking Down” - a black comedy of unique style about 3 couples, not previously acquainted, arrived at the same apartment on the same night and became involved in a murder case.

      2000年，瞿友寧所拍攝的公視單元劇《誰在橋上寫字》獲得電視金鐘獎最佳戲劇節目單元劇、戲劇導播、戲劇編劇獎等五項大獎。

In 2000, Chu did the single drama “Who Is Writing on the Bridge” for local Public TV and won 5 Golden Bell Awards,  including the Best Drama, Best Directing and  Best  Script.

     2003年瞿友寧拍出了《殺人計劃》【長相平凡、個性閉塞的珍，與同樣十六歲，陽光美少女晴是無話不說的好朋友，兩人分享秘密，像姐妹更像彼此的守護神，有一天，一個小小不經意的背叛，拉開了兩人距離，不斷的誤會讓珍不再是晴的守護神，反倒像是一個背後揮之不去的怨靈】，瞿友寧細膩的解讀出兩個少女內心的密碼，《殺人計畫》展現了他純熟的導演技巧，更利用成功電視劇的模式運作，，在票房上果然開出亮眼的成績，同時更是2003年台灣電影票房的總冠軍。

Chu filmed “My Whispering Plan” in 2003 – Jane, a plain and introverted 16 year-old has a very good friend Sunny.  They are of the same age but in terms of personality, Sunny is the exact opposite of Jane. They shared secrets and protected each other like sisters.  One day, a careless betrayal loosened their friendship.  After several misunderstandings, Jane now see Sunny as her fatal phantom.  Chu, using his great TV directing skill, successfully explored the delicate codes in the young girls' minds – making the movie a winner and also the No. 1 movie box office winner in 2003.

 《英勇戰士俏姑娘》

從小就喜愛電影且從電影科班出身的瞿友寧，一路朝著拍攝精緻、屬於自己的電影的目標前進。「將最初看電影的感動帶給觀眾。」這是他從一路下來堅持且想要傳達給觀眾的信念。

2006年春天瞿導推出電影新作《英勇戰士俏姑娘》改變他以往黑色冷冽的電影風格，加入許多浪漫、溫暖的元素。全片在馬祖芹壁村拍攝，劇情以四年前台灣瘟疫事件SARS話題延伸，以台灣離島──馬祖戰地的背景，搭配早年「反攻復國，解救大陸同胞」的氣圍，營造了一齣獨特荒謬的浪漫喜劇故事。

 Like A Hero

Being a movie lover & a professional,

Chu strides toward the objective of making his own fine-art movie. “I want to move the heart of  my audience the same way  those great  movies moved mine. ” This is not only what Chu has always insisted upon, but also his belief---to move and touch the hearts of his audience.

In 2006 Spring, Chu released his latest work “Like A Hero”- which moved away from his past  dark & cold style, and  peppered with elements of warmth and romance.  The film was shot at ChinBi village, a beautiful quiet small town on the MaTsu island near .   The story is inspired by  SARS event 4 years ago, using the war front island of Matsu and the anti-communist lives of early days as backgound, created the atmosphere of unique absurdity and a comedy of romantic fantasy .

【金泉】 一個善良的單親爸爸，帶著一個七歲大的小孩蛋蛋，因為蛋蛋媽媽受不了芹壁村的沒有發展，而離開了村子，但他的心中始終長存希望，他希望給蛋蛋更完整的家，所以想幫蛋蛋找一個媽媽，選中了當地一家冰店的老闆娘。金泉執著且認真，他對所有想要完成的事，都有一股傻勁，有時會誇大說一些事，來讓著個世界更美好，然而最後世界的改變，讓他快要不能承受，非常絕望難過。

 【光良】 出道時以歌唱團體「無印良品」走紅於歌壇的光良，在推出數張個人專輯後，每每亦能攻佔排行榜冠軍。 不但歌唱表現搶眼，近年來更跨足螢幕戲劇演出，代表作如電影：「愛情靈藥」、電視劇「狂愛龍捲風」、「寒夜序曲」；因此除了有一批廣大的歌迷外，亦擁有一批為數不少的忠實影迷，此次演出「英勇戰士俏姑娘」，戲中不但突破以往形象演出善良可愛的單親爸爸，更展現他情歌王子的歌唱長才，在劇中清唱數曲台灣七零年代老歌、更增添劇中懷舊浪漫的氣氛。

【妮娜】

       冰果室老闆娘，因為丈夫在一次空襲警報中被砲彈打中，失血過多而亡，因為受不了打擊，從此因為生命失去重心，常常精神不振，會有嗜睡現象。雖然如此，平日的她還是很悍的一個媽媽，沒人敢在她清醒時靠近她，她也是很疼女兒的一個媽媽。

 【曾寶儀】

       曾寶儀是新生代橫跨主持,唱片、及戲劇的全方位藝人，也是具有外在條件和內在實力的偶像。

    第一部演出的電影就碰上最喜歡折磨演員的導演瞿友寧，影片中他飾演一個患有嗜睡症的冰店老闆娘兼單身媽媽，也是當地阿兵哥們的夢中情人，為了演好嗜睡症患者的角色，演出前也下足了功夫，不但參與劇組訪問精神科醫師，亦不厭其煩地一再觀看嗜睡患者錄影帶，以求表現出病患平日的一舉一動及嗜睡狀況，戲中幾場與光良的對手戲更有繼拍攝過胸罩廣告後最突破形象的演出，大露美腿與優美的胸型，令人看得臉紅心跳，曾寶儀大方不扭捏的專業表現及敬業，讓導演對她更加刮目相看；日前許多老一輩的藝人才語重心長表示現在偶像不踏實、憤怒多，但看看曾寶儀，還是有一些很努力又誠懇的偶像在對自己的表現負責。

       這次她有別於以往的造型和演出，勢必再掀起一片話題。

資深藝人康弘是影視繁華年代走紅於大街小巷的知名歌手、主持人與喜劇演員，此次演出是他多年以後再度出馬演出的電影，劇中飾演防疫專家一角，帶給劇情中村民們由歡樂變為恐懼的最重要角色。

康弘此次的演出因為長期住在馬祖，而引發不知原因的嚴重發燒及腸胃病，說也奇怪，在劇中因為康弘防疫專家的來到而讓整個村子的人接二連三病發。而在戲外，康弘生病後，劇組人員亦接二連三發病，每天都有數人去住在當地唯一的戰地醫院，導演跟攝影師最後也病倒了，常常是醫院掛完點滴後大家就面無血色的苦撐著回劇組繼續拍戲。

拍戲期間，因進度落後，讓康弘在台灣第一家開幕的店無法如期開張，但敬業的資深藝人抱著病痛及承受店無法開張的壓力下；依然堅持拍完所有戲份才離開，這樣的付出著實令人動容。

         國內知名的男模特兒、綽號「梯子」，曾拍攝多支廣告，亦曾演出偶像劇「家有菲菲」男主角、高大帥氣的形象深受許多少女的喜愛。

       此次演出戲中的軍醫，戲中專業的表現令人相當欣賞，在劇情演變到瘟疫傳開後，全身包著密不通風的整套防護衣，讓高大的他雖然在電影後半段無法展現帥氣的形象，但卻具有另一個令人捧腹的笑點。

       這樣犧牲形象的演出，也獲得更多人的掌聲，被瞿導演喻為新一代最被看好的男偶像。
