Yingge is a small historical town in the Taipei County. It is famous for its pottery. As you walk down the oldest street in the tow, you will see pottery stores and studios one after another by the cobbled street. On another main street adjacent to the oldest street in town (this photo), you'll see the old Baroque-style buildings that were probably built for trade posts have now been converted into a modern shopping area with local omiyage (souvenir).
