The Philosophy Hall - One of the two beautifully done library in the Strahov Monastery in Prague. It's truely impresive in the sense that the exterior and the rest of the monastery might not look anything like what's in the library, which makes the two elegantly-decorated libraries in a monastery founded in 1140 stand out. allowed to take a picture or video-tape in there. But you can always pay 50 Czech kr to purcahse a photo pass & make everyone else around you confused why you could take a photo of the place in front of everyone else and not getting the staff there yelling "No photo" at you. :p
The Theological Hall in the monastery. It was a photo of this library that really grabbed me to visit this monastery.
The monastery has a collection of old books (largely related to religion & science) and specimens of animals, sea creatures, etc.) These spine of these books have apparently lost their colors and become white-washed.
