All the things and people we saw along the way downstream. We're almost at the open sea.
Then I got ABANDONED ON the BEACH!!!
Just kidding. I wanted to see what the white things on the muddy beach are.
Guess what? They are...
tiny tidal crabs (招潮蟹)
The white things on the mud.
Close-up view of these tiny crabs that FILLED the muddy shore. They hide in the holes when we approach them but when we stayed in one position for a long time, then they all came out again!
Out travel mate lost his sandel when he was walking on the super muddy groud where the tidal crabs are. When we got worried that he'll probably get swallowed up by the sand while he looked for his missing "foot", his sandel mysteriously popped out from another spot much further away from him.
Scenes along the way in the earlier part of the kayaking experience:
Variation 1 - While we wait for the others to catch up.
Variation 2 - Parking along the rocky shore under the bridge to hide ourselves from the burning sunlight + UV rays, while waiting for the others to catch up.
Variation 3 - Let the kayak drift and take a nap , while the others catch up (again).
We were holding on to one another. There were 7 kayaks in this "chain" here I suppose. The reason why we did this was that we thought the TV crew is going to take a pic or do something with us like this. But not sure if it ever happened! haha.
So instead, we took a pictre of ourselves, with the help of the team mate who was on the very end of the outer kayak.
