哇哇 Wa Wa
這是我們到蘭嶼的第一間餐廳, 聽說算是滿新的. 這個吧台感覺就很有蘭嶼.
This is the first restaurant that we went to on the island. The bar area have hand-drawn flying fish + the traditional fishing boat.

從沒想到飛魚是這麼大隻的魚... 來這至少要試一餐飛魚餐.
Never knew the flying fish is this size. It's actually quite big. This is a must try when one visits the Orchid Island.
剛剛看的吧台其實上面都是漂流木. 很有地方特色, 就地取材. 照片的那隻像魚的好像是真的魚...曬乾的那種.
The bar is decorated with tree branches and logs collected from the shore. I think the fish you see here is real.. the dried up kind..

這是山豬肉的風味餐, 裡面還有地方的特色菜, 例如情人的眼淚(水木耳).
This is a set with wild boar meat and a kind of seaweed (the black jelly thing) nicknamed the Lover's Tears or God's Tears.

美亞美早餐店 Meiyami Breakfast
餐廳旁邊很有台式地中海風格的建築, 那樓梯還真是陡啊.
A house beside the restaurant. The stairs to the second floor seems pretty steep!
早餐很有名的法式土司 (menu 上好像是較培根蛋捲之類的), 而且有甜的和鹹的. 照片前面的這個是甜的, 後面的是鹹的.
The breakfast place is famous for its French toast (they called it the egg roll with bacon or something like that on the menu). It can be sweet or salty (can choose).

這個是蛋餅.
This is another one you can try. Crispy outside and some ham and cucumber with special sauce inside.
牆上放的是陳建年的畫作. 這間也有許多名人光顧啊.

人魚和貓 Cats and Fishman
這間也是在東清部落的餐廳也是很不錯.
This restaurant in the Dongqing village is pretty good as well.
老闆娘是學工業設計, 所以店裡許多裝飾都還滿有設計感的.
The owner studied industrial design. A lot of the interior deco, again, were done by hand.
我覺得這個杯子很特別, 上面還有調酒的 recipe! 這餐廳的吃的和飲料都很不錯. 我們在第二天的中餐和晚餐就在這啦.
I think this glass is pretty interesting. There's the recipe for mixing popular cocktails on it. In terms of food and drinks (non-alcoholic), I think this place is pretty good. We went there twice on 1 day: lunch + dinner.
這個餐廳裡的標示也很有趣: 請勿餵食貓咪, 狗狗 和 小孩 (還貼照片呢！)
This thing written on the window says: Do not feed the cats, dogs and the kid (photo attached).
不能餵食的小朋友就在這吧. 她真的很可愛, 也不怕陌生人, 可以和一般人打成一片.
The kid is here. She's pretty cute and mixes well with strangers.
小朋友在我們吃中餐時跑來跟我們玩, 還把三輪車和鞋子一撇下, 到處爬來爬去.後來老闆娘還來跟小朋友說, 再不把違規停車的三輪車移開就要開罰單囉！(笑)
The girl just parked her little 3-wheeler beside our table, left her shoes here and climbed up and down on chairs and tables, etc.
這間店後來看介紹書提到是個愛情故事, 老闆是東清人, 在台灣認識了老闆娘, 後來老闆娘放棄台灣的一切, 嫁到了東清, 也開始 run 這家餐廳.
Read on the book later that the restaurant has a love story attached. The restaurant belongs to a couple who met in Taiwan. The man was from the Dongqing village. He managed to convince his wife to leave her life in Taiwan behind to move back to the island with him.

藍海屋 (Blue Ocean Cafe)
這間是我們在環島路上經過看到的一間小木屋, 裡面的感覺還不錯,
This is a small wood cabin we saw when we passed by it on the coastal highway. It feels pretty refreshing and cozy.
但 food & drinks 我是覺得還 ok only. 這間比較讓人哇的應該是它的冰沙.
But I think the food and drinks here are okay only. The more impressive thing would be their fruity slush.
這個就是水蜜桃冰沙.
This is the peach slush.
我們來這一次是晚餐後, 一次算是午餐, 兩次都坐在外面的位子, 感覺還滿舒服的, 而且還可看海景和下面海灘的晒飛魚.
We were here twice - once after dinner and once for lunch. The seats in the patio are actually quite comfortable. You could also have a nice view of the coast and the drying fish display on the beach.
