Adios to San Diego

I know this has been over due for 2 weeks but oh well~! Life has been busy. haha. There's always that excuse! After our last dinner, we went to get ice cream at this small shopping plaza place. Most of the shops were closed but there was still a lot of cars. Maybe they were all there for the restaurants? It is not surpring to see lots of parking spaces around in San Diego simply because everyone NEEDS to have a car to get around (nothing is within walking distance). You don't see buses a lot (I mean you don't see one outside of downtown San Diego everyday. If you're lucky (?), you'll probably see one in a week that sort of thing. & There's no subway or anything like that outside of downtown. & Most people don't...

Surfers & Titanic Tea in Pacific Beach

Things have been insanely busy ever since I got back to Taiwan. So I'm uploading my photos at a quite slow pace too. :p This photo was taken at the Pacific Beach in San Diego. Southern CA Golf Clubs

It seems like joining a golf club is such a popular status and past-time thing among the rich and famous. Most of these expensive clubs charge annual membership fee of at least tens, hundreds and thousands of dollars. And that is not including the other expenses that you are expected to spend during that year at the club. Chilling in the Sea World

It was way too hot and we had to find another way to cool ourselves so we headed for some cold water dive in zones. I don't mean you could literally "dive in" but then there are other ways to look at the beautiful creatures under water! I think the San Diego Sea World seems to have a lot more happier sea creatures living here than the Vancouver one. Perhaps space is one factor... It was such a unbelievably sunny Sunday (not called Sun-day for no reason!) at San Diego. Dancing in the Dark in the Old Globe

Over the Great Fire to Cielo

We were on our way to a mall in the North County Fair. We passed by the reservoir, passed by areas devasted by the great fire last fall, and this new exoitc development area that sits on a hill that quite look like a medieval town.
