Art Nouveau in Brussels

The art noveau entrance to the cafe of Musee des Beaux-Arts in Brussels designed by Horta. Loved the style!The art gallery was not so great I thought. It was big but it was big in the sense that the space was huge but there weren’t much super exiciting stuff to see so had to walk a lot just to get to places. The different sections also closed at different times during lunch time so it was kinda annoying.

Antwerp - First Stop of a Solo Journey

Went to Belgium (Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels) and Amsterdam for a week by myself. It was one of the best long-trips I’ve taken so far I must say! I actually quite like the feeling of moving from cities to cities with nothing but a suitcase. “This is ALL I have in the world at the moment!” Nobody and no other things; simply this suitcase, maps, wallet, cellphone, and camera. When it’s time to move on, just ppack everything up and off I go again! It really was so much easier when I was traveling by myself.

Have been unbelievably busy when I got back to Birmingham. Trying to get all the stuff done/sorted out, went to work and a few movies. Off again in a few days again. I’ll just post a few pics here for now. Have a lot more photos.. but I guess I’ll have to sort them out another time. ^___^
