I once visited the Pere Lachaise cemetary in Paris alone. My parents and my sister, who were in Paris with me at the time, didn't want to go to a cemetary. Not to mention the cemetary looked and felt more like a city for the dead with the block and street plans and little stone houses with a gate. But what so special about this place...
