Fill your room with music, not equipment. Presenting quality sound from a piano-lacquered wooden box with CD player, FM radio and a dock for an iPod or iPhone ­ all controlled by remote. With two channels and patented algorithms, the Geneva Sound System digitally adapts the left and right signals for a balanced 120-degree sound stage. Girard Wooden Doll


"Toys," said Alexander Girard, "represent a microcosm of man's world and dreams; they exhibit fantasy, imagination, humor and love." In addition to his work in textiles, Girard distinguished himself as a designer of furniture, interiors and even toys. He also had a strong interest in folk art, and in 1963, he created a collection of Wooden Dolls for his own Santa Fe home. Working from the originals, the Vitra Design Museum has reissued models 1–11 of Girard's brightly painted, semi-abstract and sculptural figures. Each doll comes individually packaged in a printed wooden gift box.

Elemen'tary Design Screwdriver Set


When cabinetmaker Justin Holmes couldn’t find a screwdriver set to meet his needs, he designed his own. Holmes launched Elemen’tary Design in 1998, making bespoke furniture on commission. His handmade Screwdriver Set (2006) includes no. 1 and no. 2 steel bits. The wood handle is finished in all-natural linseed oil and its smooth, ergonomic shape will keep blisters at bay. The solid brass ferrule will put endless screws in their proper place.

Eames® House of Cards


Pulling from their pattern and picture decks of 1952, Charles and Ray Eames selected 32 images to create their House of Cards. The cards celebrate what the Eameses saw as familiar and nostalgic objects from the animal, mineral and vegetable kingdoms. Included in the images are many vibrant patterns and fabrics from several cultures. Six slots on each card interlock for building a house of cards.

Eames® Elephant


Charles and Ray Eames were fascinated by elephants. Many images of these gentle giants are found in Charles’ photographic documentations of Indian culture and the circus world. The Eameses initially designed an elephant out of molded plywood, but it required complex fabrication methods, and they never put it into production. Only two original prototypes were made, both of which were displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in 1945–46. Today, only one known original remains in the possession of the Eames family. To expand the Eames elephant legacy, Vitra Design Museum recently produced a polypropylene version of the Elephant, in the style of the Eames Molded Plastic seating. The plastic Eames Elephant possesses the GS and CE safety certificates required for toys, as well as the whimsical shape and colors that enchant children and collectors alike.

Charlybox


Spoil Fido with a picnic of his own, packed inside the durable Charlybox. Much like a canteen for campers, this simple design is a compact carrier for your pet’s food and water. Made of two halves, the Charlybox includes a two-liter canteen for fresh water, and two bowls for water and kibble. Snap the two halves together and set out for a day with your dog. When it’s time for a snack, separate the halves and fill one of the bowls with water from the canteen. The second bowl can be used for storing and serving kibble. Bosse Brass Figures


This creature may be small, but its expression is large. Originally designed to make “as many people as possible happy,” Walter Bosse’s collectible figures have been reintroduced in exacting detail. Bosse first started producing this collection of miniatures in the late 1940s, and as a result, he made a large impact on the world’s perception of Viennese brass. Using minimal detail, Bosse’s facility for registering expression comes from the play between patinated and polished brass, the latter of which is created by polishing off the patina to reveal shiny brass beneath. Use a Bosse Figure as a paperweight or just to enjoy. The collection includes a Mouse, Donkey, Fox, Hippo, Bunny, Elephant, Bear, Dog, Pig and Hedgehog. Each sold separately. This is a fully licensed product.
