Hey,
  I've never expected that I would write to you. Lately I've thought about you often somehow.
Are you weeping now? I understand everything stupid you've done, but I wouldn't, also couldn't stop you to do them.
Without you, the way who I am would be different. Might be another person.

I know you pretty well. You're about to be a junior in college. You curse that teacher you hate(it doesn't make sense at all that she could ever make a teacher for years) with your roommate almost every day. You live in dorm.
Those days are the best.
Block No. 21, pale wall, funny smell from the drain outside of school. Girls in plastic sandals, holding mugs(may contain coffee or milk), greeting "Good morning." while hair hasn't combed yet. Or loud and sudden laughter in the hallway, the tiny bell of the convenient store("Ding-Dong"), slapper of room doors.You go home on weekends, Dad would pick you up. Mom usually call and you ask her what's for dinner.
 
More than once, you thought life would be congealed there. Stay peaceful in windy but sunny moments.
Yes, you thought so, with naive smile.
Until you meet a guy.

Queen Elizabeth I(1533-1603), as everyone knows, was very politically powerful at her time. But she's also a poet.

I like her writing style somehow.

This poem is so sad that I almost cry in reading it.
The historical background is about French revolution happened. Its ideas talk about the huge different fate between classes. The boys in the poem work for middle class, all of them live in miserable lives. They have to clean the chimney by dawn everyday so that their owners would never see and think the little boys are pity.Because work in a very narrow space for a long time since they're very young, they can never grow up as other children do.What's worse, their lungs are damaged seriously by soot so that they will not live long. The little chimney sweepers can't fight for their lives, all they can do is having a sweet dream......
