人權團體領導者在索索貢遭槍殺

【索索貢市】又一個左翼組織領導者於上週三在(宿霧省宿霧市)聖安東尼奧區卡西嘉倫城(Barangay San Antonio, Casiguran town)遭槍殺，此地離索索貢市約25公里。

警方識別受害者為Danilo Hagosojos，Selda組織的領導者、少數黨領袖Francis Escudero的舅舅、組織代理管理者Kruni Escudero的親戚。

調查者表示，61歲的受害者當時才剛從一個公共市場騎摩托車出來，身後載著他從學校接出來的7歲女兒。

他們倆當時正在往Tigbao區的返家路上，被兩個同樣也是騎著摩托車、無法辨識的攻擊者所伏擊。

卡西嘉倫(Casiguran)警方的首要高級巡官Romualdo Pesonila表示，身為前小學教師及卡西嘉倫(Casiguran)公立學校教師聯盟總理的受害者，他的頭部與身體部分遭六發槍擊並且當場死亡。

「儘管他的女兒倖免於難，但仍處於震驚狀態之中。」警察先生這麼說。

調查者無法建立出嫌疑犯的特徵，因為當他們在Hagosojos埋伏時載著蘇格蘭無邊軟帽。

Pesonila說，當受害者的女兒從精神創傷中恢復後，他們曾嘗試與她談話。

然而，有一位調查者表示澄清，這起意外事件與受害者的親屬Escuderos的政治牽連毫不相干；Escuderos是艾若育政府的著名批判者。

受害者的兒子Dondon Hagosojos告訴《菲律賓每日詢問報》，在他們的城鎮裡，他的父親沒有任何確知的敵人，也從未涉入任何嚴重的失誤中。

「自從他自公立學校教職退休後，他都將時間花在農耕上。」他兒子這麼表示。

他呼籲當權者認真看待他父親被殺這件事。

Dondon說，有人在凱薩行政區(Barangay Casay)的不遠處的一個支隊附近，看到他父親那台被攻擊者騎走的摩托車，這是已經過證實的報導。

人權組織卡拉巴丹(Karapatan)譴責這起刺殺事件，他們說Hagosojos是該省中第30個國家暴力下的受害者。

曾管轄索索貢市的Benigno Antonio中校，Batallion步兵團的威風軍官，否認軍方有插手在該省的連續刺殺事件。

李羅爾(Gov. Raul Lee)要求各市長、該省的菲律賓國家警察指導者與Antonio開會討論該省的和平與秩序。

Casiguran police chief Senior Insp. Romualdo Pesonila said the victim, a former elementary school teacher and president of the Casiguran Public School Teachers’ Association, suffered six gunshot wounds in the head and body and died on the spot.

His daughter was spared but was still in a state of shock, the police officer said.

The investigators could not establish the identity of the suspects as they were wearing bonnets when they ambushed Hagosojos.

Pesonila said they would try to talk to the daughter once she had already recovered from trauma.

An investigator, however, clarified that the incident was in no way related to the political involvement of the victims’ relatives, the Escuderos, who are known critics of the Arroyo administration.

Dondon Hagosojos, son of the victim, told the Inquirer that his father had no known enemy in their town and had never been involved in any atrocity.

“Since his retirement as a public school teacher he had devoted his time to farming,” he said.

He appealed to the authorities to look deeply into the killing of his father.

Dondon said they were verifying reports that the motorcycle of his father, which was taken by the assailants, was seen near a detachment in nearby Barangay Casay.

Human rights group Karapatan condemned the killing, saying Hagosojos was the 30th victim of state-sponsored violence in the province.

Lt. Col. Benigno Antonio, commanding officer of the 2nd Infantry Batallion, which has jurisdiction over Sorsogon, denied the military had a hand in the rash of killings in the province.

Gov. Raul Lee called the mayors, the provincial director of the Philippine National Police and Antonio to a meeting to discuss the peace and order situation in the province.
