去年10月前往倫敦，一方面是為了Frieze博覽會，一方面是為了看Roger Hiorns的作品。當時他在Corvi-mora個展，並受Artangel基金會邀請，將Old Ken Road一整棟老建築化為他的藍色結晶雕塑。最後，我在泰德美術館遇到了他。今年，他是泰納獎四位入圍者之一。

訪問完村上隆後回到飯店，飯店櫃台擺著日本各報社特別加印的號外：歐巴馬獲諾貝爾和平獎。我不禁想起村上隆提到，當日本不再作為美國文化的翻譯者後，日本應該走向怎樣的未來？當美國和西方國家逐漸放棄核武及戰爭，他們透過戰爭所建構起的經濟強權也在瓦解邊緣，這樣的時代交界點上，村上隆的談話格外發人省思。

今年巴塞爾中最風光的莫過於Emmanuel Perrotin，他展示了村上隆和音樂家兼設計師Pharrell Williams所製作的「The Simple Things」，並以200萬美金售出。

 

在香港當代博覽會預展遇到了Emmanuel Perrotin，他穿著和印象中同樣的灰色系西裝、大而迷朧的眼睛、帶點稚氣的微笑表情；Perrotin很高興地和我一同瀏覽了CANS，並且談到他接下來的行程：先離開香港到日本和村上隆討論展覽事宜、接著再回到香港參加LV藝術展開幕、之後再至日本停留數日後才回巴黎。

遇見Marc Spiegler，使我興起寫ART STAR專欄的念頭。ShContemporary預展結束的傍晚，我在上海展覽中心的水池旁看到了他，我相信自從當上了巴塞爾總監後，他必定很懼怕畫廊和他攀談（當時我還在畫廊工作），但錯過，或許很難有如此機會了。
