美國新浪潮科幻作家哈冷‧埃里森(Harlan Ellison)於1975年出版的短篇小說集，因為時間和本身英文閱讀能力的關係，這本目前仍未完全看完。另一方面有的故事實在不易投入，以致讀到一半懶得繼續啃下去的情況也所在多有，不過整體而言，《死鳥故事》仍是很出色的一部短篇小說集。

　　衝著Fantastic Literature的主題，砸了住宿、交通等雜支的銀兩下去報名參加。目前本人在這個領域仍處於摸索階段，對於國外整個相關文類批評的現況也不清楚，所以想藉這樣的機會好好了解一下該領域學者們的研究主題與方向。不過，去到會場才發現參與者並沒有想像中的那麼多，而且……其中有不少人本身就是東華的學生= =　稍微感到可惜，原本也很想找機會和其他與會者交流，不過人生地不熟加上沒有熟人一起陪，想開口總覺得還是怪怪的就作罷。
