Holy crap! It’s Urban Nomad 8!
Hi everybody! The Urban Nomad Film Festival is back and bigger than ever. This year we have over 100 films, including shorts, documentaries, indie features and video art. We’re totally psyched that some great guests are coming, including Brent Hoff, editor-in-chief of the San Francisco DVD magazine Wholphin. And also Fredie Chen, whose movie Good Luck! Comrades is about protesting the G8. We will be back in the “mosquito theater” of the Taipei Artist Village for over a week, and we will have a kick-ass party on Saturday night (4/25) at Paris Night Club with legendary one-man band Bob Log III. If you are into films about music, we have the new Sonic Youth documentary,Sleeping Nights Awake, and Moog, about the inventor of the Moog synthesizer. Last but not least, big props to Taiwan’s own directors, who are awesome. As always, we will have plenty of beer and lots of fun. We hope you can join us!
