There are several musicals which have been made into movies lately. For instance, Chicago, Rent, Dream girls and Hairspray. I personally like Chicago and Rent more because the songs in these two are more diverse and easy to follow. I recently saw the dreamgirls movie and loved one of the songs named 'one night only'.

When I looked up the youtube, I found that there are several different versions and each of them has unique flavor. Some are sad and others are more with the attitude.

After all, I think this is a good song that you can dance with and forget all the bad moments and just shake up like a small penguin. We may have a whole life to worry about, but now, let's just pretend we have this night only and dive down to the deep sea.




This is the version from Jennifer Hudson who won the oscar for her supporting acctress role. Her voice is really powerful and it turns this song into sadness.




Here comes the version from Hugh Jackman. It's really interesting to see this because I had no idea he was actually a broadway singer before and can perform much more than you can imagine from his movies.
