05.07 – 07.09 Introduction To Jazz: A Course of Lectures

Designed for non-musician audience to understand and appreciate more about jazz music. 10 lectures will be given every Thursday evening by TIJEPA instructors, 150 applicants participate regularly and this event gained a lot of positive feedback. 
 

07.19 – 07.25 TISJA Taipei International Summer Jazz Academy

7-Day camp style studying program, students learn and live together with the international faculty, students will be auditioned in advance, then the jury will pick up to 120 best local young musicians to participate.

06.20 – 07.25 Taipei International Jazz Festival

Taipei Jazz Summer Stage: "Jazz Concerts in the Park" series
Outdoor high profile concerts offered by various local and international jazz sensations in various communities of Taipei City at 4:30PM to 6:00PM and at 6:30PM to 8:00PM on each Saturday from June 20th, to July 18th.

(b) TIJF Jazz Carnivals
Da An Park has been the best place to listen to Jazz music live. This year there are not only going to be two International Masters Rendezvous  but also two Jazz Carnivals to warm up the Shows. Parades and "Mobile Bands" around the Da Ann Forest Park! The Jazz Carnivals start from 5:00PM to 7:30PM on Friday, July 24th & Saturday, July 25th around the stage in Dan Ann Forest Park.

(c) International Masters Rendezvous
Two outdoor high profile concerts offered by the eleven international Jazz Greats to perform at Da Ann Forest Park starting at 7:30PM to 9:30PM through two breezy evenings.
