Antal Kovacs, whom everybody knew as Gojma, left us on Saturday the 2nd of July in Budapest of a crushing cancer. Since 20 years, in the groups Ando Drom and Romano Drom, he was the most emblematic traditional voice and dancer of the olah gipsy culture. A character full of joy and life, he was an example for a lot of young people and beloved by the audience. With him a part of history is closing. His death is a big loss for the Hungarian gipsy culture, but above all for all for those who miss a father, a friend, a partner, a musician, a dancer.
He will stay forever in our hearts.
The funeral took place on the12th of July in Budapest
