PCWorld 評選 2005 最佳產品，Firefox 榮登第一名寶座！

The 100 Best Products of 2005
Firefox 排名第一，Opera 列第八..M$入圍的有 Microsoft Windows Media Player 10，IE 與 NN 都不在此列

Google 抱回的席次可多了
比較意外的是 Flickr 才 51 名..我以為應該至少在前30名之列
Furl 跟 del.icio.us 也都不在名單中，嗯..這份榜單包含太廣了，擠不上前一百算很正常..XD

Mozilla 的 Thunderbird 與 Firefox 都拿到了名次
Wikipedia 居然也有在60名耶！
至於 Casio Exilim EX-Z750 這是我亂圈的..因為我也用了他們家的 Z55 咩，與有榮焉一下，雖然等級應該有差一截..

嗯..原本要來個圖文版，圖也抓好了幾張，不過篇幅太大太長..有點模糊了焦點，所以還是弄弄純文字版吧！（誰規定後記不能放在前面 XD）

「讓物理光耀世界」全球點燈活動，是2005世界物理年的一項高潮活動，如果您願意加入這項活動，填寫出您所在地的資料後，會取後一組密碼，在4/19日當天以簡訊回傳給大會，大會就在會你填寫的經緯度上，幫你點亮一顆燈！

Gmail中文介面！！！！！

不好意思..如果我知道這個訊息太晚了我會自我反省..T_T
剛剛點進去Gmail的New features!看，看到了讓我振奮消息

照著Learn more的說明：

1GB的相簿！

ABSee數位影像之家
無意間從Google廣告發現這個地方，第一印象是..連線速度稍慢了點
似乎除了電子郵件認證外，還必須通過手機簡訊的認證（因為連線速度慢所以我就不考慮使用了..個人的怪癖XD）

There's a simple way to tell whether Firefox works faster after optimizing it with FireTune. Just follow these instructions:
使用Fire Tune來微調加速你的Firefox非常簡單，請照著以下步驟做就可以了:

Clear the cache of Firefox from the Firefox settings dialog - this is very important!
請先將Firefox內的快取(cache)清除 - 這是一個非常重要的動作
Before you optimize Firefox, navigate to http://www.numion.com/stopwatch/ and do a speed test on http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
在你微調Firefox之前，請先到http://www.numion.com/stopwatch/ 輸入這個網址 http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ 測試網頁速度
The time needed to load the site completely will be displayed to you in the browser window. Write down the time
畫面上出現的時間就是你下載網頁所需要的時間，將這個數字記下來
Clear the cache of Firefox from the Firefox settings dialog again - this is very important!
再一次把Firefox內的快取(cache)清空 - 這是非常重要的動作
Now, close Firefox, and optimize it with FireTune
然後，關閉Firefox，使用FireTune微調
Start Firefox again, and repeat the speed test on http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
重新開啟Firefox，然後再一次測試這個網址 http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Compare the displayed result with the result from the test before the optimization
請比較微調前與微調後的結果

On our testmachine we noticed a speed improvement of 1.25 seconds - the loadtime was 3.99 seconds before optimizations, and 2.74 seconds after optimization.
在我們的測試下，速度整整快了1.25秒 - 微調前下載時間為3.99秒，微調後為2.74秒
