我想 是因為無知
我猜 是因為無望
所以 比利時的一切都令人驚喜
行前
許多人問我 為什麼選擇比利時
老實說 我也答不出個所以然
只是想與鄰近的荷蘭作個比較
只是想與同樣不大的台灣作個對照
都是從書裡才念進腦子裡的
而進入此一小國之前
我甚至不知道歐盟總部就在這兒呢！
因為對比利時近乎全然的一無所知
抵達之前也就不會懷有什麼樣特別的期望與想像
所以 比利時的一切 對我而言 都是不凡的驚喜

Stratford-upon-Avon亞芳河畔的史特拉福
一個連名字都很浪漫的小鎮
真的是個半個小時便能走完一圈的地方
但它的社區營造和活動規劃
串聯了此地任何有關莎士比亞的一切
也因而吸引了世界各地的戲迷,詩迷,以及純粹想沾染一下文學氣質的觀光客
景點的聯票,從莎士比亞出生的地方,
莎翁夫人結婚前住的村莊,
莎翁母親的成長的家,
以及莎翁女兒及女婿居所,
甚至包含他孫女伉儷曾住過的房子都被推銷得很好!
其實倘若少了大劇作家的光環,這裡長得和Chester還真像!
寧靜可愛的小鎮,也都有河流,古屋和賽馬場
明信片上如果沒寫地名,還真分不太出來
當然,對我來說,這樣的美景也就沒有太大的感覺了
倒是這兒專門演出莎翁戲劇的劇團真的很不賴
剛看完仲夏夜之夢,同時在舞台上站這麼多演員
卻總不嫌擁擠,多才多藝的他們能歌,能演,並且能奏!
現場的音樂,有一部分是演員自己演奏的喔!
在史特拉福,現在也同時有國際長笛節正在舉行
由社區發展組織主辦,
他們訓練了在史特拉福10-70歲的社居民眾一起學習長笛
並在訓練有成後發表一連串的音樂會
很令人感動!
其中下午茶時間的音樂會,還有手工做的蛋糕及茶點供應,
很貼心 並且獨特的社區營造,
我想,這是還蠻值得學習的地方!
Tomorrow will be the last day in UK.
It's still a little sad when the time finally comes though I would like to be home for a long time.
It's still a little frightened when the new journey finally comes though I would like to be there since I was a child.
Thanks for all the new friends I met here and all the old friends I am missing.
You gave me the courage to finish the big dream!

I am going to Scotland today and will visit Glasgow and Edinburgh for almost two weeks.
Thinking of the journey in England,it's quite nice for travelling historic towns and lovely old houses.
However,the living attitude and environment in big cities are much worse than Taiwan.It's also an important experience for me.
If I weren't here in UK,I won't knw how wonderful my home is!
Sarum...
我喜歡這個名字,像是古老而神秘並且帶有魔力的低語
正如同遠自鐵器時代就站在這裡的城堡一樣迷人
它位在Sailsbury不遠處,自鐵器時代到中世紀都是軍事要塞,
並且曾是包含了城堡與教堂的繁盛市中心
後來因為興建了新的大教堂,才將市中心移到現在的Sailsbury,
也就是New Sarum,當然,原來的Sarum也只有認"老"囉!
城堡的石頭和建築風格,與其他地方不太一樣
視野相當好,
在這裡可看到整個Sailsbury大平原
人轉一圈,相機隨便按都是驚歎
讓我想起台東的鹿野高台,俯瞰田園的甜美感動
倘若在此也能坐上飛行傘遨翔一會兒
肯定很不賴!
甜美的城堡天真的留下了一個有趣的地方,

來到這個城堡,完全是一個隨興所至
並且聽說那是個有城堡和海灣的地方,沒多想什麼就GO囉!
城堡在離火車站一英哩遠的小山丘上
真的好美好美!
她大概有...台灣大學這麼大吧!?
留下了中世紀的城牆,建築以及...草地一大片
草地上開了很多可愛的小花,據說是從當時就開這種小花到現在了
而在英國,已經少有這麼大一片這樣類型的草原囉!
這個城堡過去有不少國王很喜歡來,除了海港的軍備重要性之外
我想,是因為她的視野實在太美啦!
可以看到整個小鎮,整個海灣,還有整個山丘
這裡的海景還真沒話說,

在大都會教堂的一隅,
有著一個被命名為"兒童聖堂"的地方
放了一個耶穌基督與小孩的塑像
並且在牆上框了一小幅中文的書法說明,寫著:
基督和小孩像是由史提芬科士達根據馬可福音第十章十三節至十六節所描述的景象而塑造的.經文錄:"讓小孩到這裡來,不要禁止他們,因為在神國的,正是這樣的人."這是郭家子女為紀念其父母郭鳳先生和依莉莎白.郭鳳夫人於一九九零年樹立的.

像是連鎖店一樣,幾乎都有哥德式的大教堂
雖然這樣華美的建築仍是令人動容
但看到第三座,第四座,第五座之後,不免有些麻痺
利物浦也不例外,同樣有座哥德式的教堂,據說是最大的英國國教教堂
而我尚未走進去,倒是先看見了另一座非常特別的教堂--
利物浦大都會教堂
很特別的建築設計,圓形的場地可以容納二千三百人呢!
就連室內的設計與採光都很特別
並且有琴師演奏著不同於一般教堂音樂的風琴
周邊的每一個小禮拜堂都有不同的設計
卻仍然很協調的共存在教堂裡
在裡面待了好一陣,頻頻驚嘆,
不但心靈上有種平靜的感覺,卻又有種,說不上的情感湧上來
其中有個部份的故事更令我印象深刻,我另寫在下一篇裡
先讓大家看看這個特別的教堂喔!
I am in York for the fourth day and will saty here for 2 more days.
It's a lovely place.If you have a chance to visit Britain,you have to be here!
I just saw a drama of Romeo and Juliet at a park beside the river last night.
That's a special experience and romantic feeling at that time.
Just before sunset,about 100 people sitting on the grass and picnicking with the classic drama play.
The town is having a great festival of early music here.
They hold the early music festival for about two weeks every year.
During the festival,there are three events a day.They may be concerts or speeches or anything about the early music.
The most special event this year is that they hold a competition for young musician around the world.
There will be a whole day concert of every young musician as a race this Saturday.
The winner will be announced and will have a program of the festival next year.
I'm going to the whole day concert on Saturday.
I think it must be great and exciting!!

I am in Cardiff today.
It's the first bad day for me in Britain.
It has been raining since 8A.M. and never stopped.
The new hostel I just arrived is very dirty and environment is not good also.
I would like to leave when I get here!

I've been here in London for one week.Do't worry!I'm pretty fine now.
I could'nt access the internet because the hostel I just stayed cost a lot for surfing internet!
I went around the London city,Oxford,Cambridge and Bath in the past seven days.People here are nice and polite.I haven't met anyone really bad here. Everyone is willing to help me finding directions.
There are too many sites to visit in London.I spent even three days travelling there but still can't see them all!
This is a popular city in the world without high buldings and wide roads. London has lots of parks and grass.I can see people picnicking on the grass every noon!
There are so many thing I would like to share with you!Maybe I'll tell you later!
