Bicycle by Robyn Vickers Photography.

I have to tell you that I am not a racist. Not at all. In fact, I adore the physical superiority and the innate musical talent black people have. But here is an interesting story that I heard from Roy, who is a Taiwanese from South Africa.

Roy and his friends were driving on the road at night the other day. They were not drink-n-driving of course. It was a peaceful abd pleasant trip .... until the car ran over something ...

Shocked and wakened by the sudden bump, the driver stopped the car and everyone got off expecting to find an animal of some sort. A few meters behind the car, it was not an animal lying there as they suspected ...

It was a man.

To be more precise, it was a black man wearing black cloths.

Without the faint rear lightings from the car, all they could see were the teeth and the eyes of the dead man. Doesn't it sound like something from horror movies? Gladly, it was not the driver's fault: the man was already dead before the car ran him over.

Please take a minute to imagine this. Black people wearing white shirts walking on the street in the dark. They smile at you with their beautiful white teeth. You see, and can only see, a bunch of floating shirts and teeth in front of you. Ghosts?

Apparently these situations are not unusual in South Africa at all. mmmm ... Interesting ... So how do we solve these problems? You cannot really ban black people from wearing black cloths, right? Suggestions anyone?
