Okay…so I did my first read aloud today. I think I did okay. I could’ve asked the kids more questions but I was a little too nervous after Joe (my NYU supervisor) walked in. It really blew my mind when Sidney told me that he wasn’t born yet on 911. Yes I feel old…but I also feel good that I taught the kids a history which I had witnessed. Can’t believe it’s been 6 years! Sheesh! *sigh* btw, what’s up with Yahoo and Google this year?? No icons and graphics to remember 911 whatsoever! tsk…
